OBJECTION-The design and access statement does not distinguish which category of compliance with Part M is intended. However, given the fact that all five ground floor flats have baths it appears that category 1 (visitable) is intended. This is unsatisfactory and category 2 (accessible and adaptable). should be the minimum for these flats, with at least one category 3 (wheelchair user) desirable. The planning permission needs to refer to the categories if Building Regulations are to be enforced
