OBJECTION-The house has not been designed to provide access and facilites for wheelchair users. The ground floor is set at least 300mm above ground level with steps at access points. In the absence of the scope of Building Regulations to require access and facilities for disabled people the proposal needs to demonstrate suitable provision at the planning stage. The development does not conform with the Equalities Act  (open for comments 18/10/2017 – SCAN objection recorded)
