OBJECTION- The house is not designed to provide access and facilites for wheelchair users. The ground floor is set above groung level with steps at entrances. The open plan layout is not conducive with the Lifetime Homes Standard. In the absence of the scope of Building Regulations to require access and facilities for disabled people the proposal needs to demonstrate suitable provision at the planning stage. The development does not conform with the Equalities Act (Approved with conditions - officers report includes SCAN comments and refers to Policy HO4)
