Proposed demolition of existing single storey side extension and garage and erection of a detached two storey, 5 bedroom house with associated parking and amenity space. Subdivision of plot and reinstatement of front door with porch to original house
Objection - The proposed house is not accessible to wheelchair users as the ground floor is shown on plans to be approx 300mm above the front drive and the front elevations clearly shows a step. The design and access statement is misleading. I understand the Council is unable to place a condition requiring wheelchair access to new dwellings so this must be incorporated into any approved design
